Navigating transportation with a bicycle can be tricky, especially right after landing. Here are some options:

Although many say airport buses have less strict luggage rules and can often accommodate bicycles, actually it is quite different. At least the rules are getting strict. In any case, dedicated bicycle bag or box is necessary. It’s best to contact the bus company in advance to confirm their policy on bicycles and any size restrictions.

Shinkansen (express train) has often storage space for large items in the back of the wagon.
Jumbo taxi
For a hassle-free experience, consider reserving a jumbo taxi, a large van-style taxi. This is a convenient option, especially if you’re traveling with a group. Prices are usually fixed or hourly, so be sure to inquire about the rates beforehand.
Tip: Reservations are essential, as jumbo taxis are not always readily available at the airport.
Rent a car
Car rental is a costly but convenient solution for all travelers. Make sure you book early to have a large type car or van, availability is limited.
